  Work with experienced associates and other interns who are among the brightest students at their respective universities. You’ll have exposure to senior business leaders with great depth and breadth of experience.
• Meaningful work
  Take on challenging work with clearly defined objectives. Projects are designed to be completed within your internship (10 to 12 weeks) and to challenge your skills and knowledge.
• Summer internship program
  While our program is designed around important work, we also want you to have fun. In past summers, interns have been part of community volunteer activities and other sponsored events.

What is the duration of the program?

Summer internships can last 10 or 12 weeks, depending on your schedule.

Will you provide relocation and/or housing for me for the summer?

The Capital Group will take into consideration your relocation/housing expenses when determining compensation for the summer. This may or may not include housing assistance.

Will this lead to a full-time position in the future?

Although there are no guarantees of full-time employment after the completion of an internship, we do hope that the experience will help you determine if the Capital Group is a good long-term career choice. Likewise, we’ll assess our business needs and determine if you’re the best candidate for available full-time positions.

What makes a successful candidate for these positions?

Common characteristics of successful interns include strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as leadership ability, initiative and flexibility.

What classes should I be taking to be considered for these positions?

This varies depending on the internship. However, foundational courses in your major will help you secure an internship.

What type of training do you provide for interns?

The department in which you work will determine the type of training you receive. Training can include on-the-job, online or classroom format.

Are your internships paid?

Yes, all internship opportunities at the Capital Group are paid. We offer salaries competitive with market standards.

Do you sponsor work visas?

Generally, we do not sponsor visas for candidates in our internship positions.
